Hello family!
I miss you all! This week has been pretty fun! I'm attaching some pictures from our fourth of July activities! We got to stay up past 10:30 and watch fireworks! And eat ice cream. It was honto ni (really) the best! And before that we had a special devotional that was super cool and then we watched 17 miracles and that was an awesome movie! The other fun and exciting thing is... yesterday we got kohai (junior missionaries)! Which we were all super relieved about because our senpai (senior missionaries) left so it was just the 10 of us left in our zone! but we got two districts! But there are only 2 sisters, but that's okay. It's so fun! They only got here yesterday so we haven't really got to meet them too much. Okay and also! Last night we got to skype the cutest old man! He's a Nihonjin (Japanese) and lives in Nagoya. We taught him a lesson and it was so scary. But it was so fun! He was so nice. Earlier this week we learned Jan Ken Po (Rock Paper Scissors)! and so we always play! Me and Orellana choro (Elder Orellana) are in a very heated competition... he's winning though haha.
This week has also been really hard... In coaching one day (each companionship gets assigned a teacher that is there "coach" and we get an hour with her everyday!) me and Peterson shimai (Sister Peterson) just cried the whole hour pretty much because we were so frustrated with learning Nihongo (Japanese). And everything was just going really bad. Kuwaharasan was out of town so we were teaching this other lady, Katayamasan, and we only got to teach here twice and it just wasn't very fun. So we were lacking a lot in confidence. But everything is okay now, we got a lot better! and Kuwaharasan is back and he told our coach that he has been loving our lessons this week! Which was so exciting! I think he finally likes us haha. It's just awesome to see him change so much from when we first started teaching him.
So I made this chain to count down the days to Nihon (Japan) for our classroom! But I used paper cranes! It's the best! So today, I'm teaching all the shimaitachi (sisters) in my district to make paper cranes haha. I make a bunch everyday and we go hide them around the MTC haha, it's lame but it's quite fun!
Okay! Well that's about all I got for this week! Enjoy the pictures! Oh, we had to say goodbye to our favorite teacher this week! He's on vacation... so lame. But that's him in that kinda awkwardly spaced picture haha
