Oh my lanta! So tomorrow we are getting our flight plans to Nihon (Japan)! Like what the heck?! Where did the time go?! It's so exciting though! In 11 days I'll be in Nihon (Japan)! It still doesn't feel real! Last night we skyped the cutest nihonjin (Japanese) ever! and it was really great because I understood almost all of what she said! And she told us that our Nihongo (Japanese) was beautiful haha, which is not true, but it was a nice compliment.
Nothing too exciting happened this week. We taught Kuwaharasan yesterday and he was having a really bad day. And we were teaching him and we could just tell that he didn't care. So we changed our lesson and started talking about the atonement and how through Christ, he didn't have to feel alone or discouraged and we just talked about how much we loved him and how Kamisama (God) loved him and the Spirit was so strong. And I think it really helped him. So that was a really great experience.
On Sunday me and the shimaitachi (Sisters) in my district did a special musical number. Me, Peterson Shimai, and Malone Shimai sang I heard him come and Chun shimai played the piano. It was really great! and we made the branch presidency wives cry haha. It's a really good song. Oh and next sunday I have to give the closing prayer at the devotional! Like in front of the whole MTC! It's scary haha. But it will be good.
Everything is going good. I feel like I'm still struggling to learn any Nihongo (Japanese), I spent like forever trying to figure out these giving and receiving verbs and I finally did so that was my accomplishment this week. Both me and Peterson Shimai were a little biyoki (sick) at the beginning of the week, demo shinpai shinaide kudasai! (but don't worry!).. We're good now... Okay! funny story... the word for sick is biyoki and the word for Buddhist is Bukkyo... well mukashi mukashi (that means once upon a time) I was talking to my teacher and I mixed the words up. I was trying to say that I was feeling Biyoki but instead I said I was feeling Bukkyo... haha so now, my whole district always mixes the words up haha. Anyways, maybe that wasn't funny, but it's hilarious here when you need to find ways to entertain yourself haha. Oh! and the word for hymn is sanbika, and the word for 3 animals is sanbiki... the chorotachi (Elders) in my district always mix that one up too haha. It's great!
Tonikaku, I hope you all are having a good time at girls camp! I want to hear all about it!! I love you all!
