Hello everyone!
I hope you guys are doing well! This week was good! Our investigator likes us now so that's exciting haha. But really, one day he told us that he just doesn't feel God's love and it was super heart breaking and he was saying how like he felt that we were different than him and that's why God loved us and it was just so hard to hear. Like really. I couldn't even imagine not knowing there even is a God and not having that in my life. So the next lesson we went in and just talked to him about how we loved him and we were there because we care about him and how we were there because God loves him and it wasn't at all by chance that we met him. And oh my gosh! we made him cry! For real, and he finally saw what we saw in him. He finally understood the importance of our message and he agreed to be baptized in 3 weeks! So that's super exciting!
Yesterday we hosted the new missionaries coming in. So we helped them with their luggage and took them to their rooms and classrooms. It was fun! And it's crazy to think that that was me being dropped off a month ago! It does not feel like I've been here that long. And it's kinda scary that I'm gonna be leaving in a month, but it's way exciting!
Tuesday we had devotional like usual and it was D. Todd Christofferson, he was amazing and talked about the worth of every soul and it was just really inspirational. Okay and because all of the apostles are here, there were like 6 of them at our devotional. It was pretty awesome!
Sunday we also had a devotional like always and it was by Janice Kapp Perry and her husband. She's the lady that wrote a bunch of hymns and primary songs! Okay the are close to 80 and they are so stinking cute! Like I can't even tell you how just adorable they were! They sang us their family song. She composed a song for her family, not just some lame little song, like a for real song with parts for everyone and it was just adorable... it was so cheesy but so cute!
But yeah, that's about all the excitement for the week! It's been a good week overall. I feel like my Nihongo (Japanese) is improving lots so thats exciting! I hope you all are doing well! Keiko, I hope you had so much fun at Trek! Junko, I hope you're still cute haha. Yuko, it would be cool to hear from you once.... I love you Mom and Dad!
