Hello family!
How was your week? Hope it was good! Well! You are all probably wondering about transfers... I stayed here in yahata. And so did Packard shimai. We will be together for another transfer! It will be good. So that's not an exciting transfer call haha sorry. Anyways. This week was really crazy. It was super fun though! We had three shokujis... Umm like meal appointments I think haha. We teach two eikaiwa classes so we had a shokuji with each of them and then on Sunday, yesterday, we had another shokuji with our ward mission leaders and they made this super HUGE pot of nabe and gave us this mini training on missionary work. It was way fun! So this week we ate a lot and it was awesome! Haha
This week we biked so much! One day we biked for two hours to the place we wanted to go. It poured rain the whole time and we got soaked. But as soon as we got there the sun came out and it was a beautiful day haha. Ridiculous. Let me just tell you, yahata is a ridiculously hilly area. Haha so biking is only fun half the time... When we are going down hill haha. Anyways. This week we had a lesson with Eriko! She is so cool! And she's so きんじん and she doesn't even know it! She wants to learn way bad and she loves hearing our experiences and it's way good. We invited her to be baptized on August 8th. She said no. Her concern was that she was too old and it was too late for her because Packard shimai and I were baptized at 8. So I showed her the picture I have of mom and dads baptism and kinda told her about your conversion story and she thought it was the coolest! And it made her realize that it's not too late for her. So we invited her again and she said no again. She told us August was too fast. She also said this year is too fast. So we really talked to her about faith and so she agreed to think about it and pray about it. But this next Sunday she's gonna come to church with us for the first time! And it just so happens that there is also a baptism happening that same day! So she'll be able to come to that and I think it will help her feel at ease about baptism! I think! I'm so excited! Eriko is so cool! She's seriously so solid! Anyways. Here are some pictures of us and Eriko! She's the cutest! I love you guys! Have a great week!
