Well today is transfer day and I'm freaking out! We are waiting for the transfer call!... But they don't start calling for another hour.... but they probably won't call us for another 4 or 5 hours... ugh. I think I'm transfering, but I really hope not! But whatever happens is supposed to happen. Okay, enough about that. This week was so long and kind of a weird week, but it was still good!
So on Tuesday we taught Kiyomi! It was such a great lesson, we talked to her about how she liked conferece and how she felt and all that good stuff. Well, she told us that she was watching conference and she got this feeling. She told us it felt like there was dry land inside of her, and then the rain came. She said it was a really good feeling and she had never felt that way before. We told her that was the Spirit. She was so excited about it! And I think a lightbulb went off in her head and now she totally gets the Spirit. She told us she still doesn't know if the Book of Mormon is true. We talked about how she needs to keep reading and praying about it. And then she was like WOAH! Wait a minute. I have to read it too?? I've just been praying about it! Where do I need to read?! All of it?! I'll start reading it tonight! haha. She is so cute and she just has this really sincere desire to know. Pray for her! We have a lesson with her tomorrow and we are hoping to set a baptismal date!! She is so close!
Okay, it's time I tell you all about Kayo-chan. She is 33 years old. She is less active. Well one day she came to church and told us that she wants to come back. So we were way excited. She had been going to this Happy Science church with her mom and she told us that she just felt like it was so bad. Well Kayo is schizophrenic. So she is a little bit different and it's been really hard to work with her. In our lessons all she talks about is how she really wants to marry a British guy and how she hates Koreans. I don't even know. It's so weird. Well last week on Tuesday she called us and told us that she doesn't want to be Mormon anymore because the church is too American and she needs to find a more British church so she can marry a british guy... I'm not kidding. And we didn't know what to say, so we just said okay. but we are always here to help you if you need us. Anyways, she came to Eikaiwa (English class) on Wednesday and talked to us and told us that she changed her mind and wants to come back to the church. And she asked if she could meet with us on Thursday. So we met with her. And all she talked about was how Koreans made her gain weight. I don't even know. Then she came to church on Sunday and I went and said hi to her. And she talked at me forever... and of course I had no idea what she was saying so I just nodded and pretended. Then she asked me if I understood and I said just a little. And then she was like cool! and kept talking. So I realized she doesn't even care if I understand haha, she just wants to talk. So yeah, that's Kayo.
Yesterday we heart attacked the Furuta families door! The Furuta couple are so cute! They are our ward missionaries and they always do so much to help us. Well she called us last night crying because she was just so happy that we put hearts on her door haha. She really loves missionaries and she is so terrified of transfers. She told us to call her as soon as we know haha. Shimizu ward is the best!
Oh! Saturday we went to the temple. A recent convert in our ward, Yamamoto shimai (Sister Yamamoto) was going through for the first time! So that was exciting. Anyways it was way cool becasue a lot of wards were having their temple day too and there were a lot of missionaires there! So it was way fun! The Fukuoka temple is so beautiful! It was such a great day. And like the wards go and they become the workers in the temple, so it was so cool! Anyways, it was such a fun experience. And the ward rented this huge bus to take everyone in so it was just a party! haha. Sorry this email is so scattered! I can't focus, I'm way too nervous about transfers! haha.
Well I love you all! Talk to you next week!!
