a half ago. Well, we still have the yahata church building that we teach eikaiwa in and teach lessons in and email at and stuff... But they sold our building! So tomorrow is our last eikaiwa and then we have to stop using the building. It's way sad! It was the saddest eikaiwa last week when we had to tell our students. They were so sad. They told us how they love coming every week and hanging out with the missionaries. They said that they always feel so happy after they leave. It's way sad! We are trying to find a new place to do eikaiwa. So hopefully we will be able to find one! Anyways. That was the sad thing for the week!...
There were some miracles too! We had two lessons this week, one with Nikkie! We talked about prophets and it was so good! Our member joint shared this amazing experience and really powerful testimony and among all the chaos of crying babies and Nikkie's wild cat, we were all able to feel the spirit and Nikkie is looking forward to watching conference with us this week! Member joints are the best! We also had a lesson with our new investigator Mari! It was also way good! Gosh she's so awesome! She seriously is so prepared. We taught her the plan of salvation and talked about baptism and invited her to be baptized. We had a really long conversation about baptism. She didn't commit to a date, but she still wants to learn. She has some worries, but I think with time as she keeps building her own faith, the decision will be easy! We keep inviting her to dinner at members and activities so she can meet people and it's been really great! She's so kinjin!
Also! This week we had zone training meeting. It was way good! Our zone leader talked about the prophesy that president Eyring made about Japan. We all received this talk when we came to Japan but I haven't read it since forever. So I went back and read it.... And gosh! It's amazing! He talks about how one day Japan will be a different place. He talks about how one day it won't be weird to be Christian in Japan. And how he knows by revelation that one day there will be so many people who want to hear the gospel that there won't be enough missionaries and the people will have to wait their turn to take lessons. I've been thinking about that a lot and I have no idea how that will happen. President Eyring also said that he has no idea how it will happen, but he knows that it will because the Lord promised it would. He talks about how we need the faith to make it happen, and he specifically says that it will only happen with the members help. I've realized on my mission how important members are! We can't be missionaries without members! So look for opportunities to share the gospel! It can be in anyway. You could make a huge difference in someone's life just through the small things you do. But you've gotta act. The truth is we are all missionaries, whether you're wearing a name tag or not. Your testimony can touch hearts and change lives. I love you guys! And I know that as you look for missionary opportunities you'll find them! And that they can be some of the best experiences of your life!
