Hello family!
Today is my first P-day, I will be having it on Thursday every week... The MTC is super great. My companion is awesome, we get along great. I'll send a picture later! So I got here on Wednesday and on Friday we had to teach our first lesson to an investigator (not a real one, he's just a teacher here or something) all in Japanese. It was kind of terrifying and it did not go very well... Like at all, but We've taught him 5 times now and every time it gets better. It's amazing how much Nihongo (Japanese) I've learned in just a week... I understand a lot... but my ability to speak is not so great. But it will come! It's been so fun! We're busy all of the time, but it's the best. I can't believe I've been here a whole week! Time seriously flies by.
Yesterday, Peterson shimai (Sister Peterson) and I taught a lesson to our investigator and we decided not to write anything down in Nihongo (Japanese) except for like some vocab words... So our lesson was kinda rocky and very slow... but at the end of our probably confusing lesson we both shared our testimonies and seriously by the end we were all crying... like babies. It was the coolest experience... And then we all knelt down and we had him pray to know that the things he was learning were true, and oh my gosh... It was emotional haha. He said he'd get baptized, but who would say no to two crying sisters? It was just such an amazing experience. Like I don't even know what I was saying sometimes and I know that it was really not good Japanese, but it didn't matter. It was just awesome!
So my Nihongo (Japanese) teacher, Clark kyodai (Brother Clark), is super awesome! We have a lot of fun... We see him for 3 hours everyday, but class always flies by. It's amazing how nice everyone is here. It's just such a great place to be! I love you guys! And I'll email you again later today sometime!
